i agree with the youth movement totally. but you have to have some top flight players and youre going to have to pay them. so rather than pay a whole bunch average guys average salaries they should consider maybe bringing in a few really good players and build your youth movement around them so you have a good chance to win and you can bring those players up in a winning atmosphere along side good players. im not going to repect a team or players that play mediocre football and strive for the same every year. maybe pirlo is good becuase of gattuso. i think thiose guys are good enough that they could play with anyone and you wont really have much of a drop off.they may even improve.addition by subtraction is a very real concept. gattuso seems like a player who gives 110% and is a leader on the field. put your young guys with a guy like that and a few others. youll have good players and leaders and your youngsters will be able to develop in a less pressured environment and learn from guys who have titles and world cups.

Yobo - Nigerian captain
Howard - American captain
Neville - 60 caps for England
Yajubu - Nigerian International, record 2nd to Henry in the Premiership

why wouldnt he come here? hes in a scandal in italy. hes rumored to be for sale. why is everton somehow not interested. when theres a good player out there we should be interested and try to obtain that player. i think he fits the english game. hes very physical and agressive

the only guy i like is yakubu. the other guys are all expendable as far as i see it. theres a couple man u cast offs. lescotts not a world class striker. maybe cahill can stay and play on the midfield but that certainly wouldnt proclude me from letting him go if i could bring in gattuso or someone like that whos a much higher quality player

This post highlights just how little you actually know.

As mentioned before, Lescott is a Defender. Howard is a Man U cast off, but shock, horror, there are players who don't settle at a club for whatever reason. Now he is one of the best, if not the best in the Premiership now.

Again, saying Cahill would be replaced by Gattuso highlights just how little you know. You replace an attacking midfielder with a defensive one? No no no. Please, why not take on the wealth of knowledge available on here and LEARN about our game instead of taking your misthought out plans and trying to ram them down our throats.

rather than insult me tell me why we should not be intersted. he plays every time ive seen them. is he injury prone? does he get hurt more than steven gerrard? if so its a concern if not its not. why should we keep the middle of the table talent that you seem so intent on defending and not bring this guy in. hes better. hes won world cups. why is he so unavailable? why doesnt he work for everton better than this downing guy who whines about his contract.
