Downing is a winger, Gattuso is a defensive midfielder.

pgheverton sorry your reception hasn't exactly been warm, but you gotta admit you're wrong on this one. don't get me wrong, i think gattuso is worth a bid but he'll be valued at too much and its not worth it to pay that much for him

never ever ever disrespect players like tim cahill again. ever.

players from top teams in other european leagues tend to only go for Big 4 play, it makes a lot more sense to buy the superstars of tomorrow then to splash out a bunch of money on a player who's career is winding down. when we pay someone's transfer fee, we need a long term return, Chelski can afford to offer loads of cash for a 29 year old player (we all know how that turned out), but we can't.

everton's players are not midtable quality, we broke the top 4 pretty recently, still have a lot of those same players, and as far as i'm concerned we've only improved since then.

our defence is solid, we've invested in it substantially this season and we don't need an italian star to improve, we need greater team chemistry, which will come with time.
 

he's obviously inexperienced about football but he's not worth banning i don't think. when he called our players midtable talent it did piss me off, but i'd like to think we're a more inviting community then to ban someone just for being looney. in time he'll learn, let him stick around and maybe learn something.
 
i believe we should play a more attacking style. we can keep cahill. hes fine. we can have both. dont we have any young midfielders to move into that spot should we have to let him go? honestly i only go by what isee on the tube. what see is that your way is not working. people can criticize my ideas thas fine your ideas obviously arent working. i want titles. everton is my favorite team thats why. i want to see them win. i dont believe they are taking the best path to do that now. i support the team root for them to win everyday but they dont show any sign of any commitment to getting titles and thats wrong. we dont concede titles over here or play to finish mid league.

Mate, he hasn't taken on board any of our posts. It must have been an hour that I was trying to bat away his super human athletes post.

He has shown no respect for our sport, no respect for our country, no respect for our players, no respect for our club.

Then he goes and posts a thread about Liverpool and how we should be signing Gerrard.

6 game winning streak. 1 point behind Liverpool. Quarter Finals of one cup, more or less qualified for the next stage of the Uefa Cup. Our U18's are top of their league, and our reserves are made up of more up and coming talent.

Please don't say that our way isn't working, because my friend it [Poor language removed] well is.

lets be realistic mate, right now we're pushing for a definite uefa cup spot next season, a potential top 4 finish, and maybe some silverware from cups along the way. we're not going to win the league this season, we just won't, but if you can't accept that, and the fact that the boys in blue play their hearts out every time isn't enough for you, then find a new club.

we will not lose cahill, i wouldn't lose him for 1000 gattuso's, he had a better world cup performance than gatusso, and is just better... period. i don't know why i'm [Poor language removed] discussing this.
