It may be relevant, it may not be . The terrible crimes need investigating and where appropriate punishing but In total fairness with Gary not here it Just feels a bit tawdry to have him involved in the discussion . The witness has the right to mention it if he feels it’s appropriate but to have The man involved in this discussion here , as with many and varied ones before it doesn’t feel respectful to me personally.

So I accept the witness has a right to mention it but he isn’t charged with any offence relating to Gary so I have my concerns about it but as I say it’s his evidence . My issue is what could be baseless speculation being treated as fact on a football forum , I’ve read other rumours about Gary on here previously and challenged them as well .

Took so much heart and balls to do that.

I don't know how it felt for him or anyone else but it felt for me like a funeral service at a church.
Not that it was sombre or formal or religious but in the sense of everyone attending willing him forward with love and support to get through it.

I booed Gary Speed relentlessly when he left. I don't feel guilty, that's the game. I feel sad and bad that as fans we were misled and uninformed about his departure.

Rest in peace Speedo.

Sadly Bennell won't be long on this earth - cancer - but at least there's some justice for people like Gary. .

There's no evidence to suggest that Gary's mental anguish was caused by this Bennell monster. When interviewed by police about Bennell, Gary made it quite clear that he was completely unaware of Bennell's predatory behaviour.

Let's remember the pride that Gary showed in wearing that Royal Blue Jersey and not speculate about rumours that have no basis in fact.
