From what I've seen of him he's better than Jags and younger. I'd swap as Cahill has 4 years on Jags but swaps never happen.

Then let's actually consider him as a player. Barring a good season in 2009/10 he's been on the poor side of average. Too often out of position and indecisive at times I've been less than convinced with him. When he's been outshadowed by Zat Knight it's a worry. Another player who has developed an unheralded reputation for me. I don't think he's the answer to Chelsea's problems.

I think I'm right in saying that we have let in 20 goals this season so far and scored 20. If we can't improve the scoring rate, then the letting in rate needs improving.

I like Cahill got a few games in him, but at the same time not a main priority.
