Thought Ablett was great for us. Still one of my favourite memories is him picking up his fa cup winners medal off one of the Royal family, boots round his neck, shouting to his mate "alright Toe, I'll see ya later" lol

I remember his "tackle" on Pat Nevin over there in the Cup game that preceded the 4-4,and his lung busting run and cross in the semi v Spurs for Amo to score,a really solid and composed defender for us and a real tragedy his premature passing, appeared to be a really likeable bloke too,RIP Gary.
