There are still games when Barry is useful but against teams like Liverpool that have tons of pace and movement he can't play

He cannot have played a worse 45 minutes in his career. So off the pace it was untrue, and usually composure on the ball...turned into aimless hacks and lumps up the pitch.

I've thought for a long time that despite him playing well he's having a huge adverse effect on the team.

Tonight's not conclusive proof but it's pretty decent evidence. The gap between our front players and him is ridiculous and was the reason we couldn't get a foothold up top in the second half.

Pity koeman or martinez didnt see that. Have been saying it for 2 year now. Cannot understand how he is near the team. He cant run. He now gives away 50 percent of his passes. He slows everything down. He cant press. He jogs around with his fat ass and people call him a cultured footballer. Nothing personal just Absolutely hate him as a footballer

He absolutely destroyed us when he came on. Sat too deep, as always, didn't put together any meaningful pass, didn't tackle, close down or break up play, just created a massive void between the non-existent midfield and Lukaku.

Wijnaldum and Henderson just had free-roam in midfield.

The only difference is that when we play against the dross in the league he shifts himself up to half way and plays a few more passes when he's under no pressure.
