Lucky to not have given away a penalty with that shirt pulling BS. HATE seeing players do it, dont care who they play for. Other than that was excellent.

Realistically, he needs to be replaced soon-ish. Who would be an upgrade on him?

No idea mate, but that style of player to get a good one your probably looking at sinking 10-15m easily and even then it's not a guarantee they will fit in.

Besic, McCarthy, Cleverley - honestly think we are covered for that role, espeically with other areas needing attention.

Good shout that... McCarthy to eventually take the Gareth Barry role with TC and/or Besic potentially rotating depending upon the perceived role each game. TC is more attack minded, whilst Mo B is similar to Jimmy Mac in that midfield tackler/stopper role.

Had a great game considering he just played 3 in a week at his age.
Could we have played Gibson Cleverley? Wouldn't have been too confident.
Equally Besic with Besic injured there wasn't much of an alternative.
He did poorly with the goal but otherwise an excellent game.

Besic should be the player to phase him out, and he'll get his chance soon enough. No shame in not being able to get into what is a very strong squad at the moment.
