Gareth Barry

This forum is for different views and I think Fellaini would split the views.
What I seen of him in all the home games, semi and final is a player who cant really control a ball, cant wait to get shut of the ball, cant hit a crossfield ball bar 1 against West ham and is too slow getting back.
He was bought as a holding midfield player but didnt quite fit in there.
He was then moved forward and when Saha/Jo played,Cahill was moved back from his best position, just behind the striker to accommodate Fellaini.
I felt this impacted on the performance of Cahill and his goals dried up.
If you recall last summer We would have been delighted to purchase someone like Barry but we had to wait til the last minute to get Fellaini who most of us had never heard of.
As I said at the start we will agree to disagree on him I think

Fellaini has had an very good season. And personally I'm not a big fan of Barry.

Why Barry made a pathetic excuse like he did is beyond me but I never blame any player moving on for the money, some fans chat sh!t when it comes to this lark, :)

If I was offered double what I earn now, I'd be gone like a shot, If you say yer wouldn't, yer either a liar, an idiot or a millionaire (n)

In the early seventies I was being paid £8 a day by a Bricky for hod work and pointing, two chaps approached me and offered me £15 a day to point for them, I turned them down through loyalty....then the Bricky sh!t on me so lets have none of this loyalty crap. (y)

That's the exact point I make unless it's one of our players that's being linked with a big money move

Nailed on mate.

When I see supporters go off because a player had the nerve to earn more money, it really makes me questions their senses.

It's ok in every occupation EXCEPT football?

Uh no.

Barry would get into our team, no problem. He's a good player

He'll be a good signing for City, they'll get a good few years out of him despite his age. He's always been a slow ****er, his game isn't about pace.

I think they'll do very well next season to be honest.

Toccy always did know his togga.

Totally agree.

When a player moves to better himself (which admittedly isn't always the case) nothing wrong with that in my book.
