Player Valuation: £1m
Apparently having talks with Man City about a move to Eastlands. Love this even more as it will annoy Fat Rafael!!!!

I wouldn't have minded seeing the over-rated puddin' going to Liverpool, tbh. Another £20M down the toilet.

Its all about the wonga......so much for "If Villa qualify for the Champions league , I will stay "Can't see how moving to Man City will provide him with Chmpions league football to be honest. My missus n her kids are ardent Villa fans, Barry is I suppose a poor mans Arteta, just imagine if Arteta was to turn around and say that.

When he was goin to the shi*e last season as much as I hate the Knuts
at least he was stepping up  (sort of)

But to move to city from Villa - again as much as I hate the Knuts is a definate step down so the only reason would be money motivated (n)

Money grabbing mercenary - hope he falls flat on his face he deserves to.(y)

Epitomises all that is bad about football today :rant::rant:

I could have nutted the Newcastle manager that season they kept nicking all our targets, mind you only one of them (Parker) ended up half decent)

Villa had offered to double his wages, I don't think it was for the money, I think he genuinely thinks City can qualify for the CL this year. It's still a strange move given Liverpool's interest, maybe Benitez had gone off him, didn't Alonso win their player of the year award?

Decent player, but not worth anywhere near what was being quoted.

Could not give a monkeys where he goes, cause hes hardly going to set the world alight wherever it is.

£12m signed and delivered.

i honestly think thats the best signing City have made. I rate Barry very highly.
Agree. With a few more signings like Barry, ManC can be dangerous next season. Instead of trying to sign the absolute top they are now getting good players that will improve their team step by step.. much like we have done over the years under Moyes.
