marcotti says everton offered 16.5m sporting wanted 18.5 moyes said no. ridicules moyes for 2m that the board had.

Moyes then signed a 19 year old Fellaini for £15m that summer (hardly an easy signing to make), mofro will make more profit than we would have got for the Mout if we were to sell him

Marcotti acts like he knows everything when in reality he is talking out of his fat yankee arse.

so standing up to clubs and agents by refusing the spend all the overdraft is failing? Koldrup,Bily and Beattie were obvious failures but I think overall his transfer record is pretty decent

What a pile of sh1t. Arteta, Lescott, Baines, Pienaar, Yobo, Johnson, pre-injury Yak, Jags, Howard, Cahill etc etc....all pretty successful signings I would have thought

I usually don't mind listening to this fella talk but he's wrong here. If you can only make 1 or 2 signings a year because you're skint, you're gonna be overly careful with your money.

Yes and no on that one. Yeah, I usually don't mind Gab, but he does have a habit of thinking he's an expert on anything and everything it seems. That bit annoys me.

I like it when he's like that on ESPN because the other know it all's get put in place pretty quickly, that kopite Nichols in particular.

What a load of rubbish.

With every penny being so scarce and important I imagine it being very hard dealing for players for EFC.

As said there's plenty of other signings that dis-prove this theroy but if hes saying moyes worried about them going wrong??? I'm not supprised.... He always new he wouldn't see anymore money for quite some time!

That's life at a club like Everton. While no big fan of his decisions like that meant we didn't go bust when we've been royally shafted off the pitch.

That he pulled it at the expense of his own ambitions say a lot more for than against.

Mutino at 16.5 <<<< Fellani at 15M. 18.5M LOL, Moyes was right to tell them to sod off and took Fellani instead. Funny I haven't seen any 18.5M bids for the guy yet.

We will also get at the minimum 25M for Fellani, no way would we have got that for Mout.
