First time ive watched a hurling game. Its been fantastic. Absolutely non stop action.

We were in Bath a few years ago in 2018 to be precise, and in an Irish pub with three screens, two showing United v Brighton one the All Ireland when Limerick broke a famine winning their first since 1973. They went on to win 5 more from 2020 to 2024.

By the end the vast majority of punters in the pub were glued to the hurling and I spent my time trying to explain the rules to bewildered but fascinated locals
