The GAA aka Gaelic Athletic Association, are the organisation that run both run both the hurling and gaelic football championships.
In Ireland we refer to both championships at times as the GAA, for example do you follow the GAA, who do you support in the GAA, were you watching the GAA over the weekend etc. I hope all this makes sense anyway!
Tbh the skill level of those Limerick players is a joy to see and awe inspiring.

You can accuse a squad of players of their physique and strength of all sorts, but there's no juice in the world that can give a team the first touch and skill that these magnificent Limerick players have. And they play to a system designed with intelligence and have the in-game smarts to adapt to the specifics of any game. When you get past the fitness and conditioning, their strengths in other areas are also superior. They are superbly coached and managed. They're just the apex team of their era, just as the Dublin footballers were over the last decade, Kilkenny were under Cody, and Kerry footballers were under Micko.
