The Dubs drew away to Waterford in the hurling league. Not a bad result there @Bluerover. In the football league Cork beat Kildare by 2-14 to 0-07.

Great result that is. To beat Kildare in such a convincing manner away from home, is a very encouraging result going forwards. A great weekend for Everton and a great weekend for Cork. Sure what more would you want?

Tyrone v Donegal is a huge one tomorrow. Lose and our neighbours are staring at relegation.

Donegal impressed last week but to get Kerry without the Cliffords is a serious bonus.
A convincing win for Tyrone in that game. It was a draw for your lot at home to Mayo. I suppose the point will have to do there.

Good win for Cork away to Galway in the hurling league. We were missing a few of our regular starting players as well. All Irelands aren't won or lost in February though!

A fairly convincing win for Cork against Limerick in the football. I thought we were unlucky not to beat Dublin last week as well! Limerick are a poor enough team but you can only beat what's put in front of you. It was nice to rattle off six goals as well!

The hurlers beat Westmeath by six points. Cork had a weakened team out though, and Westmeath never really threatened to score that goal to make things really interesting.

The hurling league final will be between Limerick and Kilkenny. Cork had a decent league campaign i think. Some of the newer players that were given game time have played well, and there's still some of the more experienced players to come back as well.

The footballers have comfortably secured their place in division two. They only just about avoided relegation last year, so yeah that's decent enough progress i think! Neighbours and rivals Galway and Mayo will be contesting the football league final.

The football league final between Galway and Mayo is on later on today. Hopefully we'll get a good game.

With my father being from Galway i hope the tribesmen win obviously! Galway will be hoping to win their first league title since 1981 as well.

Off to Croker in the next few: The Dubs Vs Derry.

Be interesting to see the crowd between the games.

Of course yeah there's the division two final as well. The championship for Cork starts next Sunday.

The footballers are playing Clare in Ennis. That could be a potential banana skin imo.
