Limerick 2-22 Cork 1-17 Those two goals Limerick scored before half time were real sucker punches. Patrick Horgan had a rare off day, and Cork missed a penalty as well. Limerick were the better team though, and whoever knocks them out will win the all Ireland. I'd be hopeful that Cork can get a run going in the qualifiers, and sure we'll see what happens after that. But well done today @Paris

urm thanks?

I work with a lot of limerick lads, they have been telling me for years how good their under age teams are previously, so no surprise to see this amazing senior team emerge. Delighted for them as they really have not had too much to shout about at senior level before 2019.

I'm from Kilkenny, Limerick rightly favourite to win this year but.......sneaky suspicion the Cats are back.

I hope you are one of the reasonable, logical KK fans and not one of the screaming dervishes that I have met all too often !! lol

My wife's best friend is a pet, and they have known each other fro 30 years, both nurses.

When Kilkenny played Tipp in Nowlan park a few years ago, they made the mistake of going together. Kilkenny won, but their friendship was under severe strain for a few weeks because of her behaviour !!

After the 2019 All Ireland Final victory by Tipp, her friend swore she would never set foot in Croke Park again, that KK were robbed, that the ref was completely against them etc etc

I had to move seats at a Leinster Final against KK in the Minor match because of the disgusting language coming from a twit behind me who had young children with him. In fact another KK family sitting in the same row as us, also got up and moved because of him. I wouldn't mind but KK were miles ahead against Dublin at the time. They also hammered us in the senior. I am pretty sure it was 2014.

Anyway, great diehard performance from the Cats yesterday. Wexford should have made the most of the 10 minute binning of Murphy but seemed to have no plan.

I hope next week's is a cracker.

Galway beat Rossies by 5 although only one in it at HT.

Laois 1-10 Westmeath 2-19 near the end - about 3 minutes

Meath v Longford 3pm
Wexford v Dublin 3.30pm
Kildare v Offaly 4.30 pm
Armagh v Antrim 3.30

Tipp v Clare in Munster Hurling at 3.45

Fairly average stuff from Dublin up to the 1st water break. Very rusty.

Shocking result for Laois - absolute hammering.

Our 2nd eldest's team had a terrific morning of games away to round towers this morning. No sighting of Jim Gavin to report.

I have sat /stood around a few eejits with loud mouths over the years as well unfortunately, although I learned some new phrases the time Rooney returned to Goodison in a Utd jersey that turned the air Blue.
What do you make of the possession hurling that seems to be happening now with all the counties?

Kilkenny are always at their most dangerous when written off.
Howye Cork Evertonian, their blooding in some young lads for the last 2/3 years and they seem to be gelling grand at the minute. If Cork start scoring they may not be far off this year either I thing. Tipp looking strong with the same team since 2011 too.
