Sharpys top lip

Player Valuation: £60m
Now their's only a few games to go. I thought it was time that us G.O.T members, turn are attention to player of the season. Their are a few candidates for this award.

Howard- Solid in goal all season, not many mistakes. Our best kepper since nev.

Neville- Not every bodys cup of tea, but solid no matter where he plays. Great captin, leads the lads really well. Does'nt ever let us down.

Yobo- Nearly ever preasent all season, classy centre back with a great touch an good passing ability. Links up defence an midfield very well.

Lescott- One of our true world class players, great at tackleing, passing, marking, heading. The lad has it all. Plus the goals he's scored are a massive bonus. What a player.

Jags- After a shaky start, an the thought that he would never be a regular everton player. Jags has come into his own. since joey left for africa he's been ever preasent.Top centre back, great tackler good in the air. an has a mouth on him. He's a born leader.

Carsley- Once again unsung hearo, the job he doe's for us is fantastic. You only realise what he does, when he's not their.

Ossie- Really come of age this season, Dynamic midfielder. great touch ,passing an can finish as well. Been superb.

Pienaar- Must be buy of the season in the prem. What a find. Can play right across the middle. an has everything a prem player needs. he can defend, attack he's a firery little thing that wont pull out of a takle an will get you plenty of assists an goals.

Yak- Just like jags started really slow, but since has hit the goal trail an looks a bargin at 11.25m. Great awereness, eye for a pass an holds the ball up great for our midfield to join in the attack. But it's his goals we love . It's what he's paid for.

Their are other players to. Cahill, arteta,AJ,Victor,Vaughn an others to who have played well at stages in the season. Have a think.........

Who is your player of the season??

Has to be Lescott for me, he's shown his class and that he was not a one season wonder, very closely followed by Jags and Steve Pienaar.

I'll have to go with pienaar to with ossie just behind an lescott third. They'v all played fantasticly this season.

MOD-SQUAD: put this as a sticky, an towards the end of season anounce a winner. We could speak to the club an someone could go down an give some sort or trophy to pienaar.........I meen the winner. Im sure they'd let us. As they let other sites do the same. A few pic's for the site would be nice.

Lescott, no question.

While others have excelled in their respective roles, Lescott has excelled at both ends of the pitch - his goals for have been invaluable.

Whoever voted Yobo needs a kicking. He has been pants the past few games. Sloppy even.

Lescott or Pienaar. If Jagielka keeps performing till seasons end and get 3-4 goals, then I'd even be tempted to pop him in on a par with those 2.

Need to wait till the seasons over cos if the yak fires us into forth and scores 25 ....... i know who i'll be voting for (y)

It's a tough one because a number of players have excelled at some stage in the season.
Carsley has been consistent, going quietly about his business,
Lescott has been a rock in central defence as well as left back,
Jags, well, he must be yet another 'find' by DM. I'm so, so pleased it's working out for him.
Pienaar, superb, his assists and his passion for the team, not to mention his workrate, just excellent
Yakubu, after a shaky start, his workrate has doubled and he seems to be the natural goalscorer we've lacked
Cahill, AJ, Tim Howard, all pretty much excellent
Ossie, sometimes blows hot and cold but when he's good he's awesome.
Mikel - as above but his injury seems to have been responsible for his dip in form.

That sort of leaves Neville, Hibbo, Baines, Valente, Vaughan, Anichebe.

Neville, well, 'least said soonest mended' is my only comment.
Of the rest, when they've had to play they've been solid although Hibbo has had a few dodgy games, Nuno has done okay, as has Bainsey. Victor and Vaughan, perhaps not enough starts to make an objective decision.

In essence, the team has been solid, the defence especially.

It's Lescott, Jags, Piennar and Yak for me in that order. Maybe.

I'll let you know when the season is over, still too close to call
