I laugh almost weekly at the people who do the half time competition. It amazes me how many ‘football fans’ actually can’t kick a ball.

I remember us playing Birmingham and the bloke behind me screaming in the thickest Brummie accent you’ve ever heard: “c’mon blues smash these, I hate these bloody Brummies” to which the entire away end just turned and stared in pure bemusement only for him to sheepishly shout: “...I know I am a Brummie but I’m an Evertonian Brummie”. Then when we scored he went full epileptic octopus and fell on me.

I suppose what I’m saying is that I miss being able to score against awful teams.

I recall a friendly game years ago.
The old park end was shut.
During half time the old street end /park end shouts.
All of a sudden a lets all take the park end shout
Pitch invasion towards the park end.
This was before the stewards, when we had al fellas .
Al fellas chasing after all.
