He said senior full backs, Baines and Coleman.

Ah

Would Browning be second choice right back? I think Koeman sees Kenny and Connolly as good enough not to sign a second choice RB.

Left back however I'd be happy with Galloway number two for now but ideally he will become a centre back

Brownings gone on loan to Preston mate, Connollys at Wigan.

We have Holgate at RB and currently Garbutt at LB cover, plus 4 lads from the U23s who might get a run out at a pinch.

Robinson has torn a ligament in his collar bone, so we're going to be fairly stretched at left back if Baines gets an injury

Have enought to cover until the summer. Barry mccarthy i sure can play there if really stuck. We need a llayer who will push baines for his slot though. Baines form has improved in recent matches but he was poor for last year or so.

Interesting to see whether, permitting we go 3 at the back again, Ronald goes with a youngster (Kenny) on the bench tomorrow to cover the wing backs, or just has Jagielka as the only defender in the knowledge Holgate and Funes can fill in at wingbacks. Either way - its not ideal considering that coleman and baines have not been immune to injuries the past 12 months.

I reckon Holgate with Jags coming into the team is the first cover at RB, potentially likewise with Funes Mori moving to LB as first option for LB cover. Kenny and Garbutt back up beyond that.
