With it being Mother's day and all the family here for the day unable to follow the match on GOT. A fantastic result for us, 3 points. Add to that Spurs being hammered and now 4 points behind, the only blot was Arsenal getting back for a draw.

Just got back to Rugby from match. Very weird day. Had agreed to drop missus and her mate at Liverpool Street to go to the market there. Took 2 and a half hours to get from there to the ground -made mistake of following bloody sat nav which took me back out to North Circular atraight into traffic going to Wembley for the Johnson's Paint trophy. Missed whole of first half. Was very, very wound up at the time, but in retrospect it could not have worked out better. Missed us playing rubbish and thought we were the better team in the bit I saw. Special mention to our fans - superb today. Need to get Goodison rocking next Sunday.

Naismith and Howard today, both massive players for the blues in what was a hard game!!

Underrated day for Howard. He's my MOTM. If Barry scoots over OR McCarthy doesn't fall, he'd have a clean sheet. Another two great saves, at least. Holtby's header was a hard one to deal with, for sure.

Nothing he could have done about that one goal. Dejagah is class, worth a look in the offseason as a left winger. Could replace Pienaar in time, or to give more wing-ish play rather than interplay.

Fact is we aren't all that been poor for months scrapping through home games and bar 1 game (Newcastle) we have been woeful away since the week if UTD an Arsenal
