Unless you're privy to what the medical team are telling Moyes about JB then it's pretty difficult to say with any certainty what the right or wrong thing to do is regarding his long term fitness.

We’ll play a back 5 on Tuesday as for some reason Everton managers think playing a completely untried formation with half the players out of position is less risky than starting a new player in his actual position.

And yet every week, the team he picks starts the match like a bag of sh**e, slow, predictable and played off the park. And then later in the game when he makes the subs all the armchair managers were calling for, the team suddenly looks better and salvages a point.
