That was enjoyable and poor Marco was back to being unlucky again as we were hanging on at times in the first half but once we equalised you got the feeling we could go on and win it. It was noticeable to see Dewsbury-Hall gee every one up when he scored as the job wasn't done and the players definitely believed we could win.

Fulham’s only goal was an own goal as well.

So even if you discount own goals. David Moyes’ Everton still won by 1 goal to nil. Mostly thanks to some brilliant in-game management.

Fulham will need another here because I've seen enough to know we'll score.

They look far from secure at the back.

That said, this could have been about 4-1 and there could be no complaints from us.

I don’t begrudge KDH getting the MOTM on here but Garner, again, was the best man for me, all over the place up and down the field winning the ball and setting up attacks with a brilliant captains performance just by showing an example.
