Forgive me for visiting another club's site...but as an old-fashioned fan I thought another a good club's supporters should know what I overheard. I work in the music business. A colleague and I were talking to an artist who said quite clearly the following: 'I'm heading up a bid to buy Everton. It's looking good.' We asked where he'd got the money and he said: 'Friends of friends who are wired to banks.' He is a bit of 'chatter' so this could be garbage. But I've done my bit. For your sake I hope it doesn't happen. The guy really is an a-wipe

Maybe - to satisfy people's curiosity - you should tell a Moderator like GOT - who it is in order to validate your statement. Otherwise it's a fairly meaningless comment.
