Fingers crossed, all these owners taking control might have a fatal ending, but heres me hoping. All of this is really taking the passion out of the game, its taking the hope away from the supporters, its sucking away the excitement of supports paying their increasing ticket prices in hope of glory. Without our hope and passion....and a chance....what else do we have?.....ill let yourselves think that one over.

On a slightly more constructive note :P...

I couldn't help but giggle at the superimposed bowl stadia on the GP footprint. Stadia that we would never consider building there because they don't suit our elongated plot of land. I would like to see the figures behind the construction costs for GP. £230M in Walton against £99M in Kirkby... is Labour really that cheap over there, all those 4 miles away:lol:

Good grief, working in a landlocked site, fine,
CP of some properties to go along with the (allegedly planned for closure) school, ok..
even accounting for a soft strip out of the existing stands...
more than twice as expensive as the DK Stadium? bugger off Bobby, you're just making it up.

I also like how he mixed the worst of both worlds, playing infront of a half built ground and thereby losing revenue, and playing at Analfield while the ground was built... one or the other, make up yer mind.

I'm not sure if I blinked and missed it, but was any reference made to the earning restrictions imposed by KMBC?

You know, i really do feel sorry for kenwright somtimes. But he's his own worst enemy the way he speaks an what he says. The "watch this space" comment will go down in history. He'll be remember'd for that. He speaks like a fan, when we need a cairman or a business man.

I really do think that he loves the club an wants the best for us. The job os to big for him an way beyond his capabilitys.

Its raining billionaires! Thats Plan B is it!

Cant wait to hear what Moyes had to say obviously the best is still to come and they are keeping it for the morning press!

Kirkby-man Away!:yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::cheers::cheers::cheers::dance::dance::dance::pint::pint::yahoo::yahoo:

Moysy usually answers questions on the footballing side of things, im sure amongst others the transfer window was disscussed and his contract, will only apear in the morning i would imagine!

Its just a worry that so many adult males take such great interest in an anxiety ridden saga.

Its amazing what a resource pool of accountants, architects and business law specialists we have as as Evertonians, allegedly.

We're turning into Newcastle with all this protest [Poor language removed] and that. Its about the soccer, always about the soccer.

But that's the thing it's not about soccer any more, it's about money and it's making me sick.

Quote from Elstone

"Every time we open the gates at Goodison, we generate about £800,000. Every time Arsenal open the Emirates, it’s £3.3m. The differentials over the course of a season are phenomenal.

"We would have to play an additional 62 games over a season to match Arsenal’s matchday revenue.

"To move up to a level around Tottenham, we would have to double our matchday revenue. That would mean an average attendance of 74,000, paying the same ticket price or an attendance of 37,000 paying double the ticket price."

As much as I love "The Old lady" we have to find a "super-investor" prepared to back a new stadium or completely re-develop Goodison - there can be no doubt.

I'm starting a new league to rival the premiere league it's called: "Play for Pride, yer mar and a reasonable wage".
