Potter said he wouldn't have come here. I'd say he's got enough nous to know a bad lot when he sees it, except he then went to Chelsea.
Potter is an astute guy. In public all managers give respectful soundbites about their counterparts and colleagues, so when GP said he had no interest in coming here it struck a cord with me (it's not typically what managers who are eager to climb the ladder say, and was a very clear statement that the EFC hot seat is a shytshow).

I don't blame him one iota for taking the Chelsea job - he's spent his entire career working upwards, doing a great job everywhere. I applaud his ambition and desire and determinaton to get one of the biggest jobs in world football (feels like only yesterday he was in charge of Svenska FC giving Arsenal a run for their money). That kind of self belief and focus and determination should be applauded........ even if he's probably not quite the man for the CFC job.

I wanted Potter in 2021 but we went for the Fat kopite instead.

Has to be 5-3-2 going forward.
Should have been indeed our strategy after the world up but lampard thinks he can make this team play football. He keeps changing instead of sticking to something that works and worked last year...its boring and not pretty but at least it gets you the points you need.

LOL. Sky showing a graphic of our most expensive signings under Moshiri and have Dele Alli at £40m*.

* deal includes add-ons.
And apparently we have spent over 500 millions in the last 6 years...supposedly more than Liverpool...most of the addons for our players were never paid as they're mostly underperforming...yes we have spent a lot, but nowhere near what the media keeps screaming about.

Everton do need to go 352

BUT it worked last year because we had Richarlison and if you remember we played 3 at the back first half v Palace and were 2-0 down. We switched to 433 and the rest is history.

We're crap in numerous systems. Don't people remember back in November when they were giving Lampard pelters for playing a back 3 in the cup v Bournemouth?

He should have stuck with the shape last night but it's no guarantee it's going to succeed. And when your attacking options are as bad as ours are, then it's always going to be fine margins.

There's no point at all in sacking Frank, as we still have the same useless, incompetent board who would make a mess of the next appointment.

In a world where Pochettino and Tuchel are available (and even if they wanted the job), you could guarantee the board would be looking at Martinez and Moyes as they never learn.

A lot of options are better than Lampard
