I wonder is it tooooo crazy a shout to say Moyes will end the season here and Lamps could end the season at West Ham (if only as a stop gap)? Stranger things have happened.........
Definitely could see Moyes here, but no way West Ham appoint Lampard if we sack him. Its the sort of sentimental thing we do but they've got better ambitions than that

Teehee.

But hey, never mind, dont protest at games lads, lets just sleepwalk to League One.

Not sure how clued up the writer Uche Amako is on Everton.

It's from this earlier;

  • Frank Lampard is once again under serious pressure at Everton after his side capitulated to Brighton on Tuesday night. It is understood there are no plans to dismiss the 44-year-old in the immediate future but with another relegation battle in store, he is in a perilous position.

Actually, the fella who wrote that is an utter plant pot, ignore it all.

Thomas Frank
Right now, it would seem crazy for Frank to even consider leaving Brentford, where he has done a magnificent job. He is pound for pound one of the best managers in the league and very recently signed a new contract. Nevertheless, Everton may feel it would be silly not to make an approach and see whether they can tempt him to Goodison. With proper backing from the board, Frank has all the attributes to keep Everton safe and revitalise their fortunes.

PWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHA

I’ll give you a like for use of pedagogy ??

Re the rest, anyone looking at this squad and thinking it should finish 12,13,14th, given the years of decline in the playing squad and financial position, strength of the options compared to others in the league - is living in fantasy land. Wasn’t realistic objectively. Most other fans I know that aren’t Everton fans think our squad is terrible, wouldn’t have any of our midfielders/forwards starting g anywhere near their teams.
It is quite subjective. Depends on who you ask. Quality is a fresh product. Few people wanted Joelinton, Almiron, Dan Burn, Longstaff, etc. a little while ago. Now Newcastle are in third place in the PL, 20 points ahead of us after 18 games. Led by a manager quite a few on the forum here made fun of. Because he after leading Bournmouth from League one to the PL, and kept them in the PL for 5 years with one of the smallest budgets in the PL eventually went down with Bournmouth. In relative terms he overachieved, or no he blew the scale. But the fans could only see what was right in front of them.

Lampard's had close to a year in charge, 8 signings, a summer and mid-season break to tune the squad up, we've not progressed or developed any sort of identity
