Koeman was appointed when Barca were on a downward spiral and a financial mess. Ancelloti could relegate West Brom and Belgium were simply not as good as the media decided they should be, as with Englands golden generation.
I am not saying they were all great but we seem to inspire them to total collapse for the most part.

Can click for a while, as it did at Southampton, but the minute the players get a whiff of collective failure, managers as unpleasant as him are straight under the bus. Was no match for our well-drilled gang of bus-chuckers.

There have definitely been scatterings of worse individuals than this lot, over the years, but it's difficult to assess the overall squad capabilities. I think that we've had worse and survived, but wouldn't bet more than fifty quid on it.

I just meant since i've been watching. That 2002-03 season was my first and we had the magic of Rooney. 03-04 we struggled but were safe with six games to go, even though we finished 17th. The next few years we started getting better and better, even with the 11th in 05-06.

This is by far the worst in that time.
