I hate changing managers and I really wanted it to work for Frank. But it’s untenable now surely? Unless the board are happy to keep him on and give him time to rebuild in the championship. It could just be that we haven’t got enough in the budget to pay him off. Complete s***show

He's not been the same since Cenk Tosun left. Not having a day to day colleague in and around Finch Farm to share and support one another on their hair loss journey is obviously taking its toll.

You can be as nice as you like that won't win football matches. I think you'd struggle to find a manager who could have done as badly as Lampard during this season. We will be far better under a new man. Please don't let it be Duncan Ferguson, however.

Thankfully, we're still in this. It could've been far worse had today's results gone differently. Reset, bring in a different voice speaking at the players and we can drag ourselves out.

S'ton were *ahead* at one stage and Leicester and B'mouth winning.

That would have been a disaster.

I see Wolves losing tomorrow and maybe Leeds drawing.

It's still any three from 14th down to 20th. 3 points will cover those spots as we break for a fortnight. That's nothing.

A new boss in and three players can reboot us.

We need a lot of urgency and the whole club sticking together now and not tearing each other apart.

Thought it for a long time, Frank will never make a top manager and will not get us back up if he takes us down.

Even one of the Goat managers of all time struggled here. Its the hardest job in world football.

No he didn't struggle. He had us second st Christmas, we won double figure away games and got a points tally that would ordinarily mean Europe. We also beat the RS at Anfield, Spurs at White Hart Lane and Arsenal at the Emirates.

His head wasn't in it from Feb when we would only back him with Josh King and then his daughter was threatened at knife point in a burglary. He was a success.

Frank is not a success in any sense of the word unfortunately. Don't think I've ever wanted a manager to succeed more, but his time is up now. Thanks for Palace Frank.
