We've been no further than 4 points away from the bottom 3 all season you divvy. We were 1 point above following the 3-0 loss to Bournemouth in November

The other has underperformed his xG every season he's been in the PL and played in a team that created tons of chances and famously couldn't finish.

Maybe, but after keeping us up and having a relatively decent start to the season no one should have been calling for his head.

Again the last 10 or so games his form has been shocking and it's showed he isn't a good enough manager, but I stand by what I said that people calling for his head earlier on in the season are massive punters.

Does 100% need to be sacked at this stage though

You could see he was a poor manager last season after Burnley away and Brentford at home. First half vs Palace as well

This squad is crap, but I'm certain that with the correct coaching and managing, I'm convinced that they can be better than the bottom three in the PL.
Lampard has proved that he's not up to that job.
It's not long ago that Coady and Tarkowski were being hailed as potential England players in the World Cup, now, any Tom, [Poor language removed] or Harry is waltzing past them. Likewise, we feared losing Gordon for £40 million. Now I think I'd take £10 million.
As much as I despise the way the club is being run, the board are not responsible for the sudden demise of those players. It's the coaching staff who are responsible, led by FL.
His time is over.

I've said this but there's such little in terms of points between the bottom eight teams that I think we'd still be there and there abouts. I don't think we should be definitely bottom three, but i can't see us having more than 19-20 points either, which would put us still well within a fight. That's what this squad is good enough for.

Lampard is a poor manager and needs replacing. But it won't be a silver bullet, it really, really won't be.

Looks like the paralysis and indecision continues at Toffee towers - I wish the owner and board were as decisive at footballing decisions as there have been in mobilising the media narrative and spinning lies about the fans - we would be winning the league if they were! If you’re not sacking Lampard then back him in the market ffs!

I also just wish Frank would put some of the more talented youngsters on the bench and use them, instead of the usual garbage,

Mills, price, Welch, Whittaker, over Holgate, Keane, Davies, etc any day of the week.

I also would have recalled Branthwaite, nkounkou, Warrington, onyango and dobbin - can’t see how they aren’t any worse than the dross stealing a living for us currently.

Goodison crowd kept the club up. Goodison was toxic as hell under Benitez and then everyone got behind the team under Lampard, without Goodison in a frenzy he's clueless. Look at his away record last season. It was all on the Goodison crowd.

I agree I think the crowd played the biggest part in keeping us up, but are you then saying we stay up finish the season and then just sack him anyway?

Neal Maupay has scored one goal in 13 matched and actually managed to run slower than any normal human in recorded history when through on goal against Wolves. If you're trying to make a point about the quality of strikers and Maupay is your positive control you may have to reconsider your argument.
