2022/23 Frank Lampard

Exactly. Instead of wasting money paying Frank and his team off, and paying for a new manager and his staff, invest in the squad. All we need is an attacking midfielder and striker. It's very frustrating that they weren't lined up ready to go on the 1st Jan, but is that Franks fault?
Yes, it is Frank's fault, mate. He's the manager. I don't know the power dynamics at Goodison, but Frank isn't some powerless coach being presented with rubbish transfers that he doesn't want, or no transfers at all. He must have been a key part of the process that's left us with 23 centre halves and one, injury prone, centre forward. If he was persistently being denied the tools to do his job, then he should have resigned and said why. Even the modest money spent on the team has been enough, together with the decent players already present, even during the relatively short Lampard regime, to have us away from immediate danger instead of slap bang in it, and in a nose dive. He's just got to go.

If he is still here for Southampton it is only to take away the focus from the board. That win ratio gets you sacked and it will get us relegated.
