Wouldn't feel sorry for him. He got a job at Derby for the fun of it and then was propelled to Chelsea. I'd feel bad for the people who use the food banks that he votes for

Don’t be stupid as well as angry. If we were top of the league would you mention his politics, if he was a Labour supporter right now would you. This is football not political rubbish……

My eternal disappointment in Lampard is I saw enough in him last season to think he was intelligent enough to get us going.

He seemed adaptable and wise enough to know what works and what doesn't. His backroom staff are seemingly very highly rated.

He identified our weaknesses in terms of leadership, being a soft touch and went out to fix it.

It feels like we're trying to run before we can walk.

Yes he isn't helped by this sham of a board and utter lunacy in not getting him a forward but he seems to have gone completely off piste in terms of what he believes EFC fans desire.

He seems to have become fixated with this side to side style which gets us know where.

Will always be grateful for his efforts last season but he's not getting anything with these players or this board and the writing is on the wall.

He wrote his own p45 this evening by changing everything that was good about Saturday to this pathetic display.

What a great shame although part of me can't hold him completely responsible as he's been badly let down by his board. We all have.
Agree. I thought he showed some pragmatism last year in changing style and grounding out some results when it mattered. I thought signings like Tarkowski and Coady would give us a solid base and characters to avoid capitulations like we saw tonight. Can’t see how he can come back from this, but as others have said, the board must also finally be held to account.

How do you know how into politics I am or not? I despise tories. Football and politics are intertwined

The thing with our board is they have proven they wouldnt know a good football manager if one was sat in front of them. All they do is take punts. Ancelotti aside they are all punts instead of going for someone with a good record. We pay top wages as well. I think they should give it to the fella they dont think is the right man next time. Might work???

Don't you know we'd be top 4 if Frank put a can of beans in the xmas collection box. DUH.
Christ it's not a reflection on his managerial ability that he's a tory. I simply saying don't feel bad for him as statistically, he will be fine with losing his job and likely his kids will be fine, and their kids, and their kids.

Because 99.9% of evertonians despise Tories. And the 0.01% aren't welcome.
Firstly, 'evertonians' is with a capital 'E'.

Second, it's 0.1% not 0.01%.

Thirdly, if his politics matter why stop there? Should a manager not be appointed because of their skin colour? How about their religion? How about their gender or sexual preference? Who is "welcome" and who is not - and who gets to decide? Would Pep be welcome for the sake of arguement even though he supports Catalan independence? Swap our position for Arsenal, do you think 1 person on this forum would be complaining because Frank doesn't vote Labour? And just how many of our millionaire footballers do you think are in favour of socialism, let alone can spell it?.
