I supported the last one (albeit it left an unpleasant taste in my mouth) until he proved himself (as predicted) to be utterly incapable of doing and/or unsuitable for the job at hand. Which happened really quite quickly.

The fact that so many of us KNEW he'd be a disaster doesn't mean that we didn't hope we'd be wrong.
