If Lampard takes us down , he will be every bit as culpable as the last idiot. He will have had 18 games to get us enough points to stay up. There would be no evidence to suggest he could rebuild anything, especially since he has already failed in the championship once. Stability only works if you have someone who has a clear plan to move us forward, has Frank shown that

He's not made any changes really, it started positively with us pressing high and being well set up. It's regressed alarmingly so since. There is no structured press. The formations, leaving two in the middle when it's clear we get overrun every game, he's not changed that at all, just has us sitting deeper with no joined up press. It is bizarre.

Not to mention his strange team selections, his omission of Patterson, and his continued selection of Kenny. To be honest, I'd seriously question the ability of any manager, in the EPL, or in the lower leagues in Scotland if they continued to play a player so far out his depth as Kenny. Frank has. Despite its obvious failings.
