Genuinely excited about this appointment. Spoke really well in his first interview and clearly did his homework before he applied. Out of all of the managers we have had since Moyes, Frank ticks the most boxes for me. Young, ambitious, raring to go, dying to win things, modern thinking footballer, point to prove, untainted by too many clubs at management level, worked with lots of different levels of players from young to older and quality, will attract good players to the club, players will take to him and respect him because he is young enough for them to remember how good he was himself. List goes on and on.

Type of Manager we have needed since Moyes imo and is probably the best chance we have had in actually getting somewhere. We just need to try and be patient now because man has he got some damage to repair after the past few years and especially after FSW. All i want this season is for him to keep us in the PL and then take his time to build his team properly in the summer.

Welcome Frank. ;)

It's actually a genuine question. Football fans are easily able to accept a rival managing them if it benefits them, for example George Graham managing Spurs. Plus, Gerrard as a player was one of the few England stars of that generation that had a career without any scandals or controversy.
Google is a wonderful thing, you should try it before posting some of the stuff you do!

I dont have to. Everyone knows my position on new managers: they get my support for a season.

That's just the way I approach these matters.
But you wouldn't of given Dunc a season ? You wouldn't even give him more than a handful of games but you'd give that Iberian idiot 38 ?
You're so consistent in your inconsistency .

"My first message to the players will be that we have to do this together. We'll try to do our job and I know the fans will be there backing us."

lol lol lol
Yes, some of our fans really are an absolute disaster... aren't they DAVID!
