This will now lead to him getting another plum job next year. And he has no right to, he’s an abysmal record that is only bolstered by his playing career.

Until Moshiri, Kenwright and the rest of the stupid squad on the board are purged from the club it'll always be like this. The endless cycle of managers coming and going and all considered failures will go on and on. Lampard was crap but he wasn't the real problem with Everton.

We can only hope. If he can get Chelsea to beat Wolves, Bournemouth and Forest, he'll once again be labelled as the manager who saved(ish) Everton.
