I think the first time I met Beardo and Mikey, Beardo said something on the lines of "People probably looked at us and thought there's a dad going to the game with his sons", which was plainly a jibe at my age, but I'd have been happy for folk to think that.

The fact that Beardo's gay wouldn't have bothered me one bit, I'd happily call him son. I would admit to being a little worried that someone with such a love of Scottish football and gash footballers in general might be thought to be my son though
