Former Everton Centre Forward Duncan Ferguson steps into management.....

BITTER BLOW FOR FYLDE

Alan O'Neill decided a few months ago that he wanted to play at a higher level and with the 24 year old now beginning to play for the Republic of Ireland, he wanted to move on for the good of his career. The Championship seemed to be the next step for O'Neill as talks commenced with Hull City, however there was a late arrival to the party and Alan O'Neill took his career in a different direction signing for Philadelphia Union in the MLS.

"I have to move forward for the good of my career and Philadelphia represent a good option. I am thinking of the European Championships in 2032 and want to be part of Martin Devaney's plans. It was a hard decision to leave Fylde and I will be grateful to Ferguson and the team for my development over the last three years."

He's only gone for the cream cheese. He's dairy mad that lad.

Whose gonna milk those cows when you go off to the states soft lad?

The elder statesman of the dressing room is gone. The Vanarama Heroes are far too few for me now. Gutless wonders left were before we had grafters and workhorses and real rugged harpooners who kidnapped and could resist kidnapping.

Farewell Tom. We barely even mentioned you in our thread but you will be forever in out hearts.

Done a great job for us when Russell Griffiths thought the grass was greener at Forest Green.

To be fair, they really do go all out on selling the Green in Forest Green. Even so, what a traitorous splitter he turned out to be. Never ate another swan pasty or penguin baguette after he left us and fully embraced the Vegan lifestyle which was tricky given his severe allergic reactions to vegetables and fruits. Good job Pot Noodles and Monster Munch are still on the menu for him.

I recall breaking into Griffiths’ house after he left. I put his kids pet bunny in a pan of boiling water. I intended to leave it there however it looked delicious so I served it up for myself, did the dishes and left.

We all thought that was Dirty Danny Rowe settling an old score from his playing days.

Now that I think about it, has anyone heard anything from Rowe. He's been missing a long time now. He said he was off to find Eldorado and we thought he meant the casino in Blackpool, but when the giant Aztec statue was delivered to Mill Farm with DR etched into the base - well you have to wonder don't you?
