Former Everton Centre Forward Duncan Ferguson steps into management.....

Danny says we gotta go.
Gotta go to Idaho
But we can't go surfing
Cause it's twenty below.

Sound check's at 5:02.
Record stores and interviews.
Oh, but I can't wait to be with you tomorrow.

Baby
Oho-ho-ho, we got nowhere to go
And it may sound funny, but's true.
Hangin' out in a hundred
Be watching 'Get Smart' on TV.
Thinkin' about.
You and me and you and me.

Hangin' out in L.A.
And there's nowhere to go.
It ain't Christmas if there ain't no snow.
Listening to Sheena on the radio.
Oh-ho oh-ho.

And my own personal favourite which I've just written on some bog roll

Danny why did your leg fall off
You one legged tramp you can just 'koff
Oh Danny how we loved you so
Your floppy man boobs and smell of BO
But now it's time to depart
Oh and I've just done a fart
Respect to you, respect from me
Oh Danny boy may you R.I.P

That's pushed me over the edge. I'm blubbing like Miss Bolton in the centre circle with Big Dunc, except not with happiness.

I need a cool breeze with a hint of drizzle whilst I look across the sea from the Fylde escalade for a couple of hours. I might be a while. Danny Rowe being out has shaken my very soul. Can't let the lads see any negative emotion in the run up to business end of the season. I'll be back when I can smile again and cheer on those brave little soldiers in the USM Mill Farm Sports Village.

Flags at half mast today outside the stadium.

Joe didn't turn up for work and he's the only one with the key to get the flags to the top of the mast.

Like a bloody funeral round ere today, Shirley's Uncle is getting buried at 12.30pm, all you can eat buffet in sticky Vickys Social Club from 2pm...thats lunch AND tea sorted

Result!!!

In tears here mate. Might get that tattooed on my back

Pulled myself together now lads. That lazy git Rowe has bottled it is my thinking. He wasn't any use when we got out of the Vanderama. Get him off to FC Dignitas the malingering trumpet.

Onwards and upwards from here on in Yarghhh

Whisper it quietly as well, but word has it that Dunc might have a top top striker lined up whose willing to come out of retirement.

I think it's either Dean Windass or Teddy Sheringham

IMPRESSIVE FYLDE COAST ON!

BLACKPOOL RESULT.png

When Blackpool first met Fylde in League Two it was clear who the stand out performers were but fast forward 18 months later and it's clear that tide has shifted to Fylde who looked a step above their counter parts today. Guy Morgan gave Blackpool the lead with a low free kick into the bottom corner which had the beating of Griffiths. Fylde came out the blocks from the start of the second half and were carving their way through the Blackpool defence, the equaliser came after 7 minutes when Henderson played a cutting ball through to McGavin who hit it first time into the top left corner. The threat was still there when Ashley Hammond had a shot whistle past the post two minutes later. Five minutes from time and Fylde enjoying possession, slow build up going forward and Henderson found Wright-Phillips, he hit it with the inside of the boot and it curled just inches over the bar. Blackpool retreating into their own half at this point and look happy to take the draw. Ferguson urged his team forward in the dying minutes, Griffiths launched the goal kick up field, Roache won the ball for Blackpool and drove forward into the Fylde penalty box but a last ditch tackle from MacDonald won the ball back for Fylde, he launched it forward for Sarkic on the right side who saw the run of O'Neill, the ball went in for O'Neill who hit it first time on a left footed volley. 2-1! Fylde took all three points in a game they deserved to win and Blackpool could only see it coming.

SCUNTHORPE RESULT.png

The game started cagey from both sides with Scunthorpe enjoying more of the ball but unable to break down the Fylde defence, Feeney and MacDonald looking in good form. Fylde looked to go more attacking and it paid off instantly when left back Tyler Garrett got forward and crossed for the domineering head of in form striker Tyrone O'Neill, the centre forward jumping high to tower over the defence and put it straight into the back of the net! Henderson spotted the run of McGavin from midfield and played the ball in just before he would've been offside and he struck it perfectly into the top corner, Fylde going into the break 2-0 up against promotion chasing Scunthorpe. A minute after the restart and Fylde caught Scunthorpe napping, Henderson threading the ball through for O'Neill to chase and he buried it low and hard but the flag was raised on the far side. On replay, it looked very tight. Fylde continued their fast flowing attacking football and this time it was Ginnelly who had clear sight of goal and his right footed shot flew past the Scunthorpe keeper. 3-0 and Fylde well out of sight. It could certainly have been more for Fylde who put in a top class performance. A well deserved win and a big push towards the play-offs!

DF: Very impressive football out there, we work hard day in, day out to perfect this style of play. Going forward we are looking incredible, O'Neill is in the form of his life as are 5 or 6 others, defensively we have improved, Feeney has been quality once again. A clean sheet against a top side like Scunthorpe is something to be proud of this evening. We have to keep this momentum.

What an impressive run of form! Fylde now two points from play-offs after being candidates for the drop when Ferguson first took over. The manager has got the players believing in themselves once again and they are playing out of their skin for the manager. Fylde are currently in very dangerous form.
