WE CAN NOW GO LIVE TO MILL FARM.....

Fylde have done it! A 2-0 win against Boreham Wod confirms Fylde will finish the season in 5th place and enter the play-offs. Max Haygarth scored a great goal on 3 minutes from outside the box and put Fylde in the driving seat. Boreham Wood could not match The Coasters today and we saw the return of Stephen Dooley in the second half who marked his return with a great goal from the left hand side. Dooley beat the full back before firing across the goalkeeper into the bottom corner. The Fylde players look delighted out here and Duncan Ferguson is ready to talk to our reporter.
"Duncan, congratulations. You have secured play-offs but this season has been a difficult one and at times it looked like you would miss out. How did you get the players to respond in this manner after suffering some heavy defeats recently?"
DF: After we lost to Salford I sat down with the players and I told them, we forget everything that has happened this season. We look at where we are now and we we give our all in the final two games. York were defeated last week and that put it in our hands. We had to go out there today and treat this game like a cup final."
"How do you overcome last seasons play-off final defeat? What wil you do differently to ensure promotion?"
DF: We can't guarantee promotion but we are close. Everyone has Northampton Town as favourites and I cannot argue with that. We have played two games and kept two clean sheets. We take that forward and we start fresh. The biggest challenge is preparing the lads mentally. We have leaders all over the park and this is where they stand up. We've got experience of being in the play-offs so out of the sides we should approach this better prepared."
"Duncan, good luck."
