A Press Conference has been called with Sky Sports, BBC Lancashire and The Kirkham Football Paper.
Welcome back to Fylde Euan! How does it feel to be sat here today?
EH: It feels surreal. I honestly never thought my dream job in football would come so soon, so early in my managerial career but here we are and I'm ready to embrace it. For me I couldn't turn it down regardless and under the guidance of Duncan Ferguson I believe we can bring something special back to Fylde.
Supporters are excited to see you back at the club, do you have a message for them?
EH: I can't wait to get started. There's a lot to get readjusted to, since I was last here the players are different and there's been three different managers but none of them have fulfilled their objectives. We've stayed in League One and came close to another promotion but there's been quite a lot of changes in terms of players and I want to rebuild the club and restore some stability.
17th in the league, out of the League Cup and a game against Peterborough in the EFL Trophy tomorrow. Where is your priority?
EH: Tomorrow we want to start with a win and then the league is our focus. We've got a tough game against Fleetwood at the weekend, they're also struggling this season so the points are massive in that one.
What will your style of play look like? Have you had chance to meet your squad?
EH: We've always played an attractive style at Fylde, even when we were in non-league. It's what we do here and we will continue to play with flair. I haven't had chance to meet the players just yet but Vinnie (Bytheway) has been sending me texts all day about me coming here. He's the club captain and will stay that way this season. He's a cracking footballer, even at 32 and still has a lot to offer us.
Liam Kelly brought in loan players this season, are they likely to be a part of your plans?
EH: I've not had chance to analyse the squad yet but everyone starts from scratch. Loans are often useful in the Football League so we will see.
What will it be like working with Duncan Ferguson? He was the manager here for a long time and achieved a lot. Do you think he'll be tempted to take control?
EH: No, not at all. Duncan and I work well together and he has been a brilliant mentor. He's happy taking more of a backseat now but he is my number two and he will be here working every day. He has a lot to offer and he can't walk away from football and relax! He loves it too much and his passion drives me to want to do well, especially here at Fylde.
