17th February 2030
Crystal Palace were in a bad run of form and found themselves 12th in the table going into this match. Jordan Wilson was back in the starting eleven after serving a one match suspension. Palace were looking for the opening in the first ten minutes, Wisdom tackles outside the box and gets it to Henderson, the crowd rose to their feet as Henderson turned and came forward, he played it wide at pace to Bytheway, he crossed into the box and O'Neill used his strength to win the header and put it in from the underside of the bar! No, he is offside! Encouraging start for Fylde. Jay Dasilva took control of the ball on the left for Palace and swung it in to the near post where Ryan Cassidy glanced the header past Foster to give Palace the lead. Fylde were playing well on the counter attack and zipping the ball fast up the pitch, Bytheway and Henderson linking up brilliantly together and Bytheway played in Henderson whose shot was saved at close range. Declan Marshall came on for Fylde in an attempt to go more attacking with 35 minutes to go. Da Silva took the corner for Palace, Fylde tackled in the box to get it clear, the ball fell to Frank on the right of the goal and he only hate the keeper to beat, 2-0! A tough one for Fylde to come back from. Fylde were giving it a good go but Palace were playing well at the back. The difference here was the two goals and Palace took their chances. Fylde came close and worked the keeper but were unlucky not to get something out of this match.

Cardiff City vs AFC Fylde
23rd February 2030
A tough trip to Cardiff as Fylde were hopeful of stopping striker Mark Elmes who had 19 goals in 31 appearances. Bristol City take on Luton Town and Fylde cannot afford to lose ground on their rivals. Elmes was given a harsh reminder he was in for a game when the whistle blew as Okoroji took him off the ball with a strong challenge as things got underway. 15 minutes on the clock and Wisdom sent in the free-kick towards the back post and Jamieson headed against the bar. Euan Henderson picked up a foot injury after 20 minutes and was replaced by Barry Sargent. Tyrone O'Neill went onto the left. Neil Foster pulled off a fantastic save on the stroke of half-time, when he tipped a shot from Gibbons onto the bar. What a save. Fylde were doing a good job at keeping the scoreline level but the last ten minutes always prove tough for Fylde as they usually begin to run out of steam. Jordan Wilson won the ball back with a great tackle and Alan O'Neill played it left to Tyrone O'Neill, he played in second half substitute Victor Oto'o who ran down the right at speed, he crossed into the box but Cardiff cleared the ball and Davies picked it up on the left but Charley Coe executed a perfect tackle and won the ball back for Fylde. Feeney picked it up and played it left to Tyrone O'Neill and he sent a great ball forward for Barry Sargent to chase, he was through on goal and he buried it past the keeper! A late goal for Fylde! The away fans are going wild here! Four minutes added on and Fylde need to hang on. Fylde got the ball up the pitch, Sargent lost it and Cardiff pumped it long towards Thompson who was bearing down on goal but Feeney tackles brilliantly and concedes the corner. Elmes crossed it in but McGavin cleared it and Oto'o picked it up and passed it to Wilson who done well to concede the free-kick in the Cardiff half. Jamieson sent the ball into the box and Alan O'Neill went up for header but was fouled and the referee gave the penalty! Barry Sargent put the ball down on the spot, Mannion saved it! The whistle is blown and Fylde have won! An excellent three points for The Coasters!
DF: That was fantastic, I think we had two shots on target all day and to score one of them was brilliant. Cardiff put us under constant pressure but we dealt with them and kept them out. A great result for us! Sargent doesn't get many but that goal is worth more than any of them!

Crucial victory against the owls. Hoot hootAFC Fylde vs Stoke City
2nd March 2030
The last time these two sides met resulted in a 0-0 draw and a win today for Stoke can take them up four places to third in the table if results go their way. Ademola Lookman started for Stoke and would be a player to mark tightly to limit his effectiveness in this match. Stoke had two players on early bookings inside the first ten minutes and will need to be cautious for the rest of the match. Mick Wisdom played it wide to Henderson but he was tackled, Okoroji picked it up and played it down the left in the path of Henderson who got there and crossed for O'Neill and he headed against the post. Mick Wisdom indicated he wanted to play on after suffering a minor injury but Ferguson brought him off just before half-time for Josh Ferguson. Barry Sargent entered the action with 30 minutes to go for Euan Henderson. Ryan Nyambe crossed into the box on 69 minutes, Foster went for it but missed and Ademola Lookman was there to slide in and knock it over the line. Two minutes later Stoke undone the Fylde defence, Nyambe played in Nevile who beat the offside trap and placed it past Foster for Stoke's second. It was a match where Fylde couldn't get near Stoke and Mara kept another clean sheet against The Coasters.

Derby County vs AFC Fylde
9th March 2030
It was a difficult run of fixtures for Fylde with Derby County next up. Ferguson started with Barry Sargent leading the line at Pride Park. It didn't take long for Derby to get on the scoresheet when Barjonas blasted home the pass from Lee Edwards on 8 minutes. It got worse on 15 minutes when Jamieson brought down Edwards in the box as he went up for a header. Barjonas took the spot kick looking to make it 2-0 but Foster kept it out! What a great save! Neil Foster was doing a good job to keep Derby out but the pressure was relentless and on 33 minutes Asoro found Osei in space in the box and he doubled Derby's lead. Fylde were all over the place at the back and just after half-time Sam Robinson crossed low for Lee Edwards to make it three. With ten minutes to go Fylde were hitting Derby with everything they had but they were up against a good defence. It was men against boys at Pride Park and Fylde were on the losing side once again.
DF: We were very poor and we got what we deserved. It's a tough loss to take as Luton and Bristol City both got results today and we are really up against it for the remainder of the season.

AFC Fylde vs Sheffield Wednesday
13th March 2030
A midweek fixture against Sheffield Wednesday made it even more of a difficult task as both Luton Town and Bolton Wanderers picked up victories the night before. Fylde were down into 23rd place going into this match. Fylde held firm when Wednesday came forward and made the most of when they had the ball. Wilson played it to Henderson and he got it over to Bytheway who knocked it into the box first time and Tyrone O'Neill slotted into the bottom left corner! It was a much better performance from Fylde in the first half and worked hard to keep Sheffield Wednesday from equalising. Okoroji took control of the loose ball just outside his penalty area and had time to play a long ball forward for Tyrone O'Neill who chased it down and slotted past the keeper for his second of the game! A nice finish from the striker! Fylde were playing well all over the pitch but there was still time for Sheffield Wednesday to get back into the match so had to stay focused. With 19 minutes to go, Paul Hicks got down the right and crossed for Ryan who was unmarked and he put it past Foster to claw one back for Wednesday. Can Fylde see this out? Sheffield Wednesday were coming forward in stoppage time, Crane took the ball in central midfield and was unchallenged, he played it left wide to Jones who was being jockeyed by Oto'o, the cross was put in and Foster was fast off his line to claim it. Fylde kept the ball and played it around calmly and recorded a win which was needed to keep pace with the teams around them.

Always had a soft spot for those fans tbh, you might not remember but I do, they went 22 years without winning at anfield and then finally did back in 2021 I think it was, your forgetting now because they are in League 1 but back then Liverpool were the best side in the werld lad. Just because they have the finest stadium in England now, 4 PL titles on the trot and 2 CL in the trophy cabinet, I just can't dislike Everton tbhWe might as well go and support those money grabbing tossers who play for Everton![]()
