AFC Fylde vs Oldham Athletic
21st April 2029

It was now or never for Fylde and they had rode their luck with teams around them dropping points but a win today was vital. Mill Farm was packed to capacity and the fans were the 12th man for them today. Ferguson stated that the footballing world wanted to see if his players had it in them to make a name for themselves and there is no better time than now. Brett McGavin found himself back in the team and Vince Bytheway was back amongst the starters. Mick Wisdom looked to have picked up a knee injury and was able to carry on, he played it to Dootson who turned and found Bytheway out wide, he sent a low cross into the box and Tyrone O'Neill got there before the defender and made it 1-0! Fylde off to a good start! The board went up for two minutes added on in the first half when Oldham had a free-kick, Lincombe put it over the wall and it went through Fosters hands, 1-1! A terrible time to concede right on half-time. The secondf half did not live up to expectation and both teams were setting themselvs up attackingly in the last ten minutes. Fylde had only stoppage time left to pull something out of this one. Chesterfield were cruising at 5-0 against Rotherham putting the pressure on The Coasters. Morton got the ball out to the left for Garrett, 30 seconds remained, he crossed into the box and Ferguson got up and won the header but it was straight into the keepers arms. Ten seconds to go and the ball is played long for O'Neill, he gets it wide to Henderson, surely this has to be it, Henderson wins the corner. Ryan Scott takes it and its cleared away. The whsitle is blown and Fylde are held to a draw. This is a dramatic finale now.

DF: Based on our recent run of form we don't deserve to be going up as champions. It's going to be a tense last day of the season.

Honestly, how are we going to be CL contenders when we keep slipping up to the likes of Oldham!

Also I'm missing one of my forks from my harpoon. Some said Tap dance Terry got it lodged by accident up his arse again but if anyone knows where it is let me know cos theres no way I'm going to Mansfield missing a fork off my harpoon. We are gonna need our Harpoons, Swords, Chariots, Armour, leather sandals, white 2 striped socks, false tan and Turtle masks for this one lads.

It'll be basically be like the main Colloseum scene from Gladiator in front of 200k....but just in Mansfields shopping centre instead, in front of about 60 people, outside the colloseum fruit machine Arcadia shop
