Since Timmy has been thrown into the lone striking role, we have been doing quite well. And i know Yak and James have been ruled out for the season but i wanna get everyone's opinion on what Moyes will do next season. Do Pip and Arteta stay central? Where does Cahill and Fellaini fit into it?

Just a guess, but I'll try

I Haven't seen Jacobse at all so wouldn't know if he's worth a place. My idea would be Neville at RB and Gosling on the right side of midfield. As for the rest I'm happy with your line up

I saw Jacobsen play once for his national side ... though it took me a while to figure out which one he was being that his entire team look exactly alike!

He held his own pretty well. The match I saw was the one right before he hurt his shoulder. The only reason I was watching it was to see how he did.

Other than that, I only know he was only brought in to play there, so I figured I'd toss him in. On my own "unofficial" research, though, I bought him on FIFA '08, and wasn't impressed, lol. I actually did end up putting Neville back in place at RB.

---------------------Howard-----------------------

Neville---------Jags----------Lescott---------Baines

Osman----------Arteta-------Fellaini---------Piennar

------------------------Cahill-----------------------

-------------------------Yak-----------------------

Although I'd like to see Osman replaced and used as a squad player.

Howard

Neville - Jagielka - Lescott - Baines

Osman - Arteta - Fellaini - Pienaar

Cahill - Yakubu

Explaniation:

Howard - Good keeper - best one we have got anyway.

Neville - Been solid at right back, and gets some great crosses in

Jagielka/Lescott have simply been outstanding.

Baines - Attacks better than Lescott, and gets some very dangerous balls in the box. Links up with Pienaar well.

Osman - I wouldnt play him - but who else is there? Id want Gosling to play at RM but Moyes wouldnt do that...

Arteta - Great in the Centre...but how will he do when Neville isnt there?

Fellaini - Not sure about him being CM...he did well in a more attacking position.

Pienaar - Links up with Baines well, and provides a bit more creativity

Cahill - Playing great upfront, so why not leave him there. He was getting slated at teh start of the season (KingJoleon + GrandOldTeam) when playing in a 4-5-1, so see if he can play well with the Yak upfront. If not just drop him down the pitch abit.

Yakubu - Shocking start to the season, but back from injury hopefully he is raring to go, top class finisher.

it all depends on what new signings we make. but 451 seems to work consistently well for us, so we may as well stick with that formation, by & large.

4-5-1 will be played for the remainder of the year. I think that is locked.

Next year if Yak is healthy and thats a big if. Will be the start to have some selection headaches and possible toying with the formation which Moyes prefers because of the talent available. Gosling will be in the mix in my opinion. But Yak needs support to get his best. Expect a big money signing upfront once again.

I'd be willing to bet he's more comfortable on the ball than either Hibbert or Neville. That's without seeing him.

How can you put Neville in at right mid? He can play a good pass alng the floor but he can't whip a ball in with pace and at the right height. Arteta would have to be put on the right and Neville centre, unless you want to shove Gosling in ahead of Pip

Howard

Neville Jagielka Lescott Baines

Arteta

Pienaar Fellaini Osman

Cahill

Saha

When Saha is back and that.

Tough question because you can't overlook form. At this point, there would be a real dilemma where Hibbert and Neville are concerned because both are in some of the best form in their Everton careers if not their best form.

Same with Baines as he's really starting to show some great play for us, at the expense of Yobo right now.

So based on current form and "if" everyone was healthy, right now I guess I'd have to go with:

....................Howard....................

Hibbert......Jags......Lescott.....Baines

Osman....Arteta......Fellaini.....Pienaar

....................Cahill.......................

.................Yakubu.......................

Bench:

Nash
Neville
Yobo
Jacobsen
Vaughan
Anichebe
Saha

I'll mix it up a little -

Howard
Neville Jags Lescott Baines
Arteta Pienaar
Fellaini
Cahill
Yak Saha

No width whatsoever like but if we're talking about having everyone heathly and fit - leaving Saha on the bench is not an option IMO.:D
