That’s what happens when you have a striker with no mobility. Nobody to take defenders out of the picture and open up the space that Bellingham and Foden love to attack so you’re just relying on combinations which rarely come off

That and also instructing a central player to play on the right wing together with the right winger, while playing another central player at left wing, but clearly instructing him to hang back as well.

This is as much on Southgate as it is on Kane - he looks drastically different while still being immobile for Bayern and slots a lot, wonder why that is?
