Champ Man 01/02 was the last of the great manager sim games. I think FM is becoming stale

Im still playing it. Cant wait for the new one.

I bought FM09 , but the activating process was shambolic, worse than Hull's defending. Hopefully for FM10 , it will be simpler:huh:

Yeah I saw Champ Manager on the tracker site last week. Not even worth downloading. I might even buy FM this year.

Definately going to get it this year.

The last manager one I got was CM 98

I've bought the last few, each time they add or change something that makes me want to play the new one even tho like Fifa they're not much different year on year.

Thing is I hardly play them anymore, need to spend a good chunk of time infront of the pc to really get into it, and I just dont have that anymore, what with wrok/gf/other commitments

Still, any of the "Championship Manager"s since the change are not worth considering imo, unless you wanna check it out just to see what its like.

Had pre-orderded CM10, but then thought about how rubbish the previous few releases were compared to FM, I cancelled. FM is still the one , but really it is just a stats updated version of the last. Admittedly FM09 has the 3d match engine, but I for one don't use it anyway.

Scheduled for Oct 30th ..So that will mean Mid November then, 3 patches later , should have a decent game by December.

The funny thing is, the amount of people that bought the game and had problems getting it to work was silly and yet peoples like me, who had, erm, got it from somewhere else had no problems at all.

There's not even competition here, FM is miles out in front.
