Liars.

Making me miss the old game looking at some of them screenshots - I used to be proper into footy manager, a sly hour could get you nearly through a season.

Still love FM though - just hard to dedicate the time required to the new set up.

Sadly lost its plug and play element for me.

Began feeling as though I needed a tutorial to play it and it become too much effort. Training regimes, press conferences etc.

It took about a week to get past pre season.

Definitely. Had a mate telling me that the game is so exclusive now that if you haven't been playing for the past few years then buying the latest edition will be pointless. Completely new game. It no longer entertains new players.

If you recognise that screen ;)

I can't believe you've actually typed that. Have you turned into one of those awful FB whores?? "You won't believe what happens next", "If you remember this your childhood rocked", "Can I get 1mil Likes for beating Cancer". Ugh. Je deteste! :( :@

I'm not on Bookface mate.

Those screenshots really do make me miss the old days of Champ Manager, I also remember the days where it was only either the English or Italian league on different games.

I agree todays games are too complicated but I still enjoy playing it.

My pesonal favourite was 2001/2002, mainly because I was unemployed for 6 months and really put a shift in on that game.

I posted this in "Computer games" thread, but another user said it would be better to move it here and since I haven't got an answer for few days, I hope it's not a problem to just quote my message.

FIFA is like smoking cigarettes, quite addictive but you do it with other people a lot of the time. It's quite social.

FM is crack cocaine. You do it by yourself, locked in a poorly lit room for hours.

It's great though.

It's hard to enjoy something when you really don't understand the way it works/affects the game.

Anyways, I watched loads of tutorials and beginner videos yesterday, and even though I am all about learning to play by myself, I simply had to do it in this case. Picked City for the first career as I am still not familiar with lower-leagues and players that are there and it really is pretty fun so far. Took me 2 hours to finish preseason last night and I can say I enjoyed it alot. Have loads of time to learn the game even better before FM16 comes out, will try some sort of Road to Glory when that happens.
Have you been playing a demo already? How?

I'm sorry for not mentioning it, but it is FM15 (its thread is currently locked, idk why) with all the latest transfers + new wonderkids and lots of other things (it's just a file that updates everything, pretty small aswell).

Haha, that's very true indeed!
