Flopped a straight flush !!!

Playing in a poker tournament this past Friday night.

Had Jh 8h (h meaning hearts)

Limped in knowing the the two behind me to act wouldn't raise. Was hoping to hit a few Jacks or Eights or at least a straight or flush draw.

Flop was 10h 9h 7h.

Flopped a freaking straight flush. I've never had a straight flush before. The best news was that the Qh came on the river.

Bet big and my opponent called with Kh thinking he was good unless I had Ah. Showed my hand to which the table mildly freaked out.

Texas Hold'em has been around since about 1900. It pretty much is 'proper poker'.

Live or online?
It's awesome when you can make a SF in a live game. I've been lucky enough to get a couple. Had a few RFs too online but never live.

Also remember busting out to a low SF when I had the nut flush at the end of a live tournament when we were heads up - that was mental. You know you're not destined to win when that happens.

Happened in a game i played, but i swear the guy must have had about 5 aces up his sleeve the amount of time he picked one up.

If you mean live then even less would probably make it.
