FLAGS & SCARVES etc

Followed the blues for too many years to remember but still don't know why we don't buy make scarves, flags etc.

Purchased they would bring much needed revenue to t he club and home made (flags) would add a bit of colour to the stadium on match days.

I always bought a shirt each season but now being of a certain age have put those days behind me but wondered if it was just fashion faux pas that we don't buy shirts anymore?

Other clubs seem to do quite well out of shirt sales and I don't think we are any cheaper or dearer than other clubs.

Oh the dilemnas i have on a saturday morning............

there's virtually nowhere to hang banners up on a match day at goodison. and i'm talking tasteful ones boss ones made up in the club's old logo.

i would like to see white bakers coats back, spray painted with everton slogans , topped of with matching bib and brace and silver monkey boots

I've heard of these sort of styles being de rigeur for the Gladwys St boot boys back in the day but I've never been able to find any pics of Everton fans dressed like this.

Bit before my time like, but does anyone have any snaps like this ??? Where cameras even invented then ???

you would have to go back to about 73 for that get up , seen by myself at my first away game aged 11 or so at Burnley , they had a bit of a crew that had been displaced by us, at throwing out time about 2,45 a load of there older lads came in behind the goal, we were at the side, i thought this looks risky we were nearly all kids, when a roar went up behind them and about fifty fellas dressed like that steamed right into them , battered them then just caused mayhem for the rest of the game, fighting getting a grip of the local ladies at half time, mad day out for a young lad seeing all that.

My first away was Burnley away 1970( championship year) I remember a chant of Burnley going up at half time when everbody was having a piss and all hands trying to find where it had come from.

Does anyone remember the massive everton flag in the Gwladys street a couple of years back in the uefa cup a couple of seasons back? Think it was in one of the group stage matches.

half time , at the toilets at the back of the terrace, there was a few of the local girls giving a bit of stick out had more about them than there boys, anyway they attracted the attension of the everton lads, who surrounded them, almost as fast one of them opened her shirt, and got her boobs out and said" do what you want but dont hurt me," which was a bit strange as nobody was trying to do anything to hurt her or her mates just banter, anyway she and her mates ended up in the bogs with the lads, being only young at the time i was told to get the fook, seen loads of stuff with girls at away games over the years, derby county, ipswich, coventry, sheff wed just off the top of my head, being a nice lad i never got involved.
