Arsenal away.
The last few seasons we`ve made bad starts playing these type of sides. Will be at home so Liverpool can be at home last game of the season. PL don’t want us getting a good start though so won’t be a newly promoted team or a weak bottom half side. Also won’t want to put us on tv in case we scalp a big boy. So I will say someone like Bournemouth, Brighton, Villa or Newcastle at home. I’ll go Villa at home.
From A.I. logically by chance and stats,
It was a home match Vs Brighton last season, so we will start away from home this season and discount Brighton
By the Same logic of teams who where away last season:
Fulham
RS
Wolves
Southampton (Sunderland)
AFC Bournemouth
Aston Villa
Crystal Palace
Man City
should all start at home substituting the similar kitted promoted black cats for the relegated saints.
You can rule out the RS and Man City as they will be televised and we won't be until our opening home game,
that leaves Villa, Bournemouth, Palace, Fulham, Sunderland and Wolves.
You can rule out Sunderland because one of the "big six" will fancy an easy opening fixture.
With Villa and Palace in Europe it would be possible for one of the big six to play them after a horrendous away journey to some distant European game, so the likelihood is we will play them before this happens.
Palace no doubt will get flukely stuffed in the community shield by the RS and will be low on confidence, so it won't be them, which leaves Villa with their newly acquired forward DCL .
A big bag of money and an OBE bung means our opening opponents will be:
ASTON VILLA away
who will of course be packed with fantastic new signings and a full strength unbeaten pre-season squad raring to go.
Five nil to the blues!

Even though I suggested this first, if I won I hope they would hand us both a half pint glass eachVilla away
