Fixtures

I've just seen the leak - six away fixtures to start the season: United, Brentford, Bournemouth, Liverpool, Leeds, Sunderland. An extremely tough start, and no home game until October!

Christmas and New Year's fixtures a nightmare: 20th December Newcastle away, 22nd December Forest home, 26th December Arsenal away, 29th December United home, 1st January Spurs away.

I guess the news about the stadium delay was right after all.

:pint2:
obviously all 100% true honest
That`s a great run of fixtures to get over the Christmas. Start with Newcastle, with CL football starting to takes its toll on them, then Forest, again having played extra European games and falling back after a strong start last year, Arsenal go into the season with sky high hopes only for to hit the flat spot of all flat spots when the weather gets cold, and then United and Spurs, the once big 6 members that fought a battle to finish 17th and 16th last season. There`s a realistic chance of 15 from 15 points there, and follow that up with a cup defeat by Accrington.

I guess today is the day we find out whether the club have been lying gets about the stadium being ready on time, or that they've, alongside the contractors, done a fantastic job in getting it delivered as planned.

I think we will be away first game. Our first home game will be on TV you would think

History of time suggests its not always the case.

2002: Southampton, Not Televised Vs Chelsea
2003: Man City, not televised vs. Porrsmouth
2006: Arsenal, not televised Vs. Aston Villa
2016: West Ham, on a Sunday,  was televised Vs. Bournemouth
2019: Spurs, on a Wednesday, was not televised Vs. Crystal Palace

Only an hour to go. I think we'll have a "dull" team to open with, so they can test getting away fans in and out.

A few early leaks of the vermin's fixture list indicate that we'll start and end away. Last two years in a row the source has been reliable.

Derbies are 20th Sept (Anfield) and 18 April (BMD).

Do we really believe the leak of multiple away games? The fact they're going live from the stadium to reveal them on YT, it'd be a bit odd to do that and go oh yeah this gaff is behind schedule despite us saying different?
