I got my little girl some Shobunken last year but their faces melted off.

I then got a couple of Tench, they lasted a while but eventually one vanished (literally) overnight and then the other died a few weeks later. No idea why, had a filter and PH thingy.

I won't be getting anymore.

Be interested see who has got what to see if we share any hobbies. I have kept tropical for years, and also discus. I until recently kept marine however i gave it up due to the cost

We have a tropical tank. Its pretty boring though coz we have about 8 fish in it. My dads to scared of adding to it as they keep dying when he gets new ones. I say just by 100, if 50 die then you've still got 50 left. And theyll **** eachother and make more. But he's not having it.

Scared of introducing foreign species, with their weird diseases no doubt.

is that a vision 180 by any chance mate the bow fronted one

No - its just a bog standard rectangular JEWEL one - not a fan of bow fronted ones they distort the view slightly.....
and putting 100 new fish in a tank at once will crash the biological filter and kill 99% of the life in your tank.
The key word is patience...... (just like with the footy)
