Arcadia area...East Phoenix/Scottsdale. Pete's has been here for like 50 years and that's my go-to for fast stuff and it's only about 2 miles from me. Been a long time since I've been in one but I do remember the unfortunately-named Red Robin had a decent version. Liking the name of the Codfather there...sounds like a sit down place, no? I work in the East Valley though, so might be able to check it out on the way home one day. Ah, it's up on Bell and 16th St which is a bit of a trek.

The Bakery near my School did half a loaf and two bags of crisps for 80p, you use to eat half the insides, lovely warm doughy bread, then put the crisps in the middle and Scran the lot, best lunch I've ever had to this day.I never got them at the tuck shop either, had to get them on lunch. Chip muffin/barm (depending on where you were from) and gravy, then over to the newsagents to spend the rest of the dinner money.
Of course, some days we hit the bakery, or walk the extra distance to get to the chippy on the main road into Manc land to get a giant portion of chips and beans for 60p. Course there was only enough time to walk there, get food and walk back, eating before the bell went.
